Background
With each passing year, we hear more and more about the importance of recycling. Genesis Dome uses industry-specific solutions for value recovery, secure data destruction, and reducing environmental impact.
As the sole designer for Genesis Dome, I was responsible for shaping the visual identity of their website. I worked closely with the staff content writer and website developer to shape the vision of Genesis Dome.
Goals
Genesis Dome's updated website aimed to define its identity as an eco-friendly and environmentally conscious business. Discussions with team members revealed crucial points that needed to be addressed in the development of the site.
- A clear color scheme was needed that could highlight each of Genesis Dome's Services: Electronics Recycling, Information Technology Asset Disposition (ITAD), and Manufactured Product Disposition.
- Cohesive imagery, from both photos and iconography.
Background
The design for Genesis Dome draws inspiration from nature, incorporating organic forms and gentle curves. Iconography accompanies text, emphasizing the content for individual pages.
